Privacy Policy Agreement

Digitist, LLC. (“Digitist”) operates the following websites, including:

It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website(s). This Privacy Policy identifies and describes the way Digitist uses and protects the information we collect about Customers, Visitors, and Registered Users.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Digitist collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Digitist’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Digitist may release non-personally identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the website. Digitist also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses. Digitist only discloses personally-identifying information under the circumstances below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Digitist’s websites choose to interact with Digitist in ways that require Digitist to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information Digitist gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who contact us to provide contact information. Those who engage with Digitist to use other services may be asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process transactions. In each case, Digitist collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Digitist. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Aggregated Statistics

Digitist may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, Digitist may monitor the most popular webpages with Google Analytics (or similar services.) Digitist may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Digitist does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Digitist discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliates organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process on Digitist’s behalf or to provide services available at Digitist’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others outside of an agreed upon use. Some of those employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Digitist’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Digitist will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone unaffiliated with our service offerings and products. Other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, Digitist discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or when Digitist believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonable necessary to protect the property or rights of Digitist, third parties, or the public at large. If you are a registered user of a Digitist website and have supplied your email address, Digitist may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features or services, solicit your feedback, or just to keep you up to date on company-related news and events. We primarily use our various website(s) to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request, we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Digitist takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Data Security Practices

• We maintain information about you in our business records while you are a customer, or until it is no longer needed for business, tax, or legal purposes.
• We have implemented encryption or other appropriate security controls to protect personally-identifying information when stored or transmitted by Digitist.
• We require non-Digitist companies acting on our behalf to protect any personally-identifying information they may receive in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. We do not allow them to use such information for any other purpose without your consent.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Digitist uses cookies to help Digitist identify and track visitors, their usage of Digitist’s website(s), and their website access preferences. Digitist visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Digitist’s websites, with the drawback that certain features of Digitist’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Business Transfers

If Digitist, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Digitist goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Digitist may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Ads

Ads, if any, appearing on any of our websites may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Digitist and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Content collected by or submitted to any of our third-party affiliates are generally not saved on our servers.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Digitist may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Digitist’s sole discretion, Digitist encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Upon any changes or updates to this Privacy Policy, the “Last modified” date at the top of this document will be updated along with a summary of the changes in the “Change log” section at the bottom of this document. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.

Your California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 entitles California customers to request information concerning whether a business has disclosed Personal Information to any third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes. As stated in this Privacy Policy, Digitist will not sell or share your Personal Information with non-Digitist companies for their direct marketing purposes without your consent.
